Indentify the degree of burns:
- First Degree Burn:
First degree burns involves redness of skin, sensitive and sore to touch, minor pain and swelling due to sunburn, scalds and light steam burn. However, first degree burn remains only on the outer layer of skin.
- Second Degree Burn:
Second degree burn is much more severe than the first degree as it also causes damage to the inner layer of our skin. It involves blisters, redness, swelling and sharp pain, which causes due to contact of hot iron, fluid or severe kind of sunburn.
- Third Degree Burn:
It is most severe kind of skin burn that requires immediate medical attention and it also damage the tissue that lies deep inside the skin. Due to which skin becomes black, and permanent swelling appears on skin. It mainly occurs due to electricity, chemicals, over exposure to hot surface, open fire or boiling oil or water.
Herbs To Cure First & Second Degree Burn:
- Aloe Vera:
Aloe Vera is a best herb to cure burn that can be applied on the affected area after washing the skin with water or vinegar. It has a tissue repairing, painkilling and astringent properties that works toward curing the skin burn.
- Lavender essential Oil:
Lavender oil immediately putted on the burn skin works very effectively. It also carries pain killing properties and reduces the risk of scarring.
Honey applied on the skin burn reduces the pain and heal it with much faster without leaving scars of it.
- Whole Milk:
Apply whole milk of the area of skin burn with the help of clean cloths, it will give you an immediate relief from pain and burning sensation and heal the skin much faster. Replace the cloth after every 15 minutes.
Diluted form of vinegar works very effectively to reduce the pain of burn and makes your skin relaxed. It can be applied on the affected area with the help of clean cloth or cotton.
